HERE ARE some practical tips and supplements  to help boost and support your immune system , empowering you to give your body the best chance to avoid and fight any viruses that may come your way, including the current Coronavirus that is sweeping the world.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE: by managing stress levels ,  reducing alcohol and sugar, exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet full of fresh fruit and veggies you will  be keeping your body in an oxidative state ( as opposed to acidic) . This means your body will be in a much stronger state to defend itself from the virus and to also fight it if actually contracted.

SLEEP:  really important to get a good nights rest so your body can detox, repair and rejuvenate to operate at its best

GOOD GUT HEALTH:  most people do not realise but the majority of your immune system is actually located in your digestive system so it is essentially to keep the microbiome of the gut in a healthy state.

By adding fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi, drinking kombucha , kefir,  and Supergreens and adding live yoghurt and a strong probiotic to your diet will help keep the gut flora healthy, therefore boosting your immune system.

DEEP BREATHING : by  taking 10 mindful deep breaths  several times a day, you can reduce stress levels,boost your immune system and build resilience all with this one easy practice.

VAPORISER/ HUMIDIFIER:  these are great to have on both at home and work.Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to keep the surrounding air fresh, deterring viruses while keeping those airways open.

It is also a  fabulous aid to support your respiratory system while sick, enhancing a better sleep so you can make a quicker recovery. ( lavender oil is also great to promote a sense of calm).

WATER: incredibly important to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and flush the body of toxins which aids the immune system function.
